Bill Eigel Joins 5k Turkey Trot in Chesterfield, Thankful for Finish Line

Happy Thanksgiving! As we take a pause in our busy lives for this holiday weekend, let’s be thankful for what is most important in life: God, Family, and Country.

An Eigel family tradition is to participate in the annual Chesterfield, Missouri Turkey Trot 5k run. Besides a great chance to clear room for Thanksgiving meals, it’s a great chance to meet and chat with other neighbors and friends braving the chill and the course. This year, the run included several thousand folks from all ages and backgrounds.

Even more thrilling, I did NOT finish last among the racers.

My inspiration for this race is my wife Amanda, who has overcome illness throughout this year and was able to run the 5k fully recovered (and she did far better than I did!).

I am also thankful for each and every volunteer and concerned citizen that has reached out and become of our team as I explore a possible run for Missouri Governor in 2024! Amanda and I could not do this without you!!

Let’s Go Missouri!
