Bill Eigel visits Cape Girardeau

This week Senator Bill Eigel visited Cape Girardeau and spoke to several groups including We The People of Cape Girardeau County. What a fantastic group of freedom-loving Missourians! Activists spoke about many issues–foremost among them was election integrity.

Senator Eigel discussed his plans to file legislation this session to require hand counting of ballots in Missouri. He also discussed successes made this past legislative session to require photo IDs for voting, paper ballots, and the prohibition of ballot harvesting “drop-boxes”.

Most of the lively discussion centered around Eigel’s vision for Missouri as we approach 2024, including his plans to be a defender of Missourians’ individual rights. This means fighting for parents rights in our public schools, protecting kids and families from assault by the Left, and actually reducing the size and scope of government in Missouri. His plan to eliminate personal property tax was particularly well received.

Special thanks to We The People of Cape Girardeau County for hosting events throughout the day–we hope to visit again soon!
